TrustBoost Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-12
TrustBoost ("the app", "we") is an internal tool used by its owner to manage their own websites. It is a desktop/command-line application, not a public service. This policy explains what Google user data it accesses and how that data is handled.
TrustBoost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Google user data we access
- Google Search Console data for the owner's own sites: search performance data (such as queries, clicks, impressions, and positions) and the list of sites, plus the ability to add sites to the owner's account.
- Site verification tokens and status from the Google Site Verification API, used to verify ownership of the owner's own sites.
2. OAuth scopes, in plain words
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters- view and manage the owner's Search Console data: read search performance and add sites.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/siteverification- manage verification of the owner's site ownership.
3. How we use the data
Data is used only to provide the tool's functions to the owner: reading search performance for their sites, adding sites to Search Console, and verifying site ownership. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, analytics unrelated to these functions, or to train machine learning models.
4. Storage
Data is processed and stored locally on the owner's own server or computer. The OAuth refresh token is stored locally and is not transmitted anywhere except to Google to obtain access. No Google user data is sent to third parties; the app communicates only with Google APIs.
5. Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to anyone. There are no ads and no third-party analytics or trackers. Data is not made available to humans other than the owner, except as required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as needed to operate the tool. Locally stored data, including the OAuth token, is deleted on request: write to aloxpetron@gmail.com. You can revoke TrustBoost's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
7. Security
Credentials and tokens are kept on the owner's own server with restricted access, and all communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
